Dance, poetry, art and more: Â鶹´«Ã½AVcelebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with fun events for all

Mississippi State’s Holmes Cultural Diversity Center and Latino Student Association are collaborating with other campus organizations to host free events in celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month, running Sept. 15-Oct. 15.

MSU’s month-long celebration encourages members of the Bulldog community to learn about the contributions of Hispanic and Latinx people on campus and across the country.

Events include a virtual poetry performance and the university's inaugural iBaile virtual Latin dance competition. Â鶹´«Ã½AVLibraries will host a Hispanic Heritage Month exhibit at Mitchell Memorial Library featuring images from Â鶹´«Ã½AVSpecial Collections, books by Mississippi State Latinx authors, and Spanish translations of works by Eudora Welty, Tennessee Williams and Â鶹´«Ã½AValumnus John Grisham, among others.
